How much space between the ears?

It will depend on the shape of the bottom edge of your stock.
If it's 3/4", then you'll need a 3/4" space between the ears and so on..

In my case way too much :o... Measure the width of the bottom of you stock where it will ride the rear bag and add an 1/8". Call Edgewood and have them make you a bag.

I do not want my stock riding in the bottom of my bag.

Butch, is this a short versus long range preference? Most everybody I see at 600 appear to have the stock riding on top of the bag, but I hear short range guys always say they want the stock on the ears. I've never shot short range but I've tried both ways at 600 with similar results both ways.

Personally I want mine to ride on the side of the ears. Don't know about the long range shooters other than their butt stocks are much different.
