The Vihtavuori Load Manual, which can be downloaded from our Varmint Load info page or www.vihtavuori.fi ) lists a max load of 33.2 grains N135 for a 70gr Sierra HPBT, with cartridge OAL of 2.087, 3271 fps.

SEE Varmint Load page: http://www.6mmbr.com/varmintloads.html

FYI, Sierra's Load Manual, known to be very conservative, lists a load of 29.3 grains of VV N135 with their 70gr HPBT bullet, cartridge OAL of 2.150", 3000 fps. This bullet actually has a very small boat-tail, so it would be similar to the 68gr FB bullets I assume you would be using. But since your flat-base bullets may have a longer bearing surface and since every barrel is different, we suggest you start at 30.0 gr N135 and work up.
