Can you not get the same look by inserting the Teslong from the muzzle end? That's what I do. Maybe I'm missing something.

I think a crisis was averted. I did a hasty test with just throwing 39.1 grains of Varget. I loaded Five with .15” and five with .10” of bearing surface in the case. The results were hasty but the results promising. I zeroed the calipers to a bullet and measured the groups.

I can move on and test OCW but I will be stuck with my length.

A lot of people have rigid borescopes and match barrels that are far longer than the borescope. If your borescope is longer than the barrel, then go for it from the muzzle.
