Our nationals is about 350-400 rounds/person, depending on teams shooting and making the finals.
Over our season we shoot 1200-2400 rounds each.
Our component costs are high as everything is imported.
Ammunition cost is less than the cost of travel, accommodation and food over the season.
Lapua cases will last, some of mine are on their 15th load. (I budget on 10 loads/case).
As others have said shooting is more expensive than some sports, less expensive than some.
For me it has built shared experiences with my son that money couldn't have bought.
