How much brass does the Amp Mate hold?

How much brass does the Amp Mate hold? With out the Dillon attachment. And for those who have the amp mate ii, how do you like it?

It all depend on the length of the brass. I have one but its still in the box and haven't set it up yet. I do know that over the last 8 months or so every time I have looked on Amps web site they have been out or not available. I don't know exactly what that means its just an observation. I know they were making a Gen II version, maybe it got set on the side burner to put time towards the Bullet seater.

You could also add an extra length of plastic tube it to add a bit more capacity if you wanted.

I've been waiting a while for one of those.

I really like their machine, but would not mind at all if I could just dump a bunch of brass in the hopper and hit the go button while I do something else.

I was spoiled with the hopper feeds on my old annealers and still use those on PD ammo for that reason. I'm usually running a batch of one to two thousand of those and if I didn't have the hopper feed I would probably skip annealing for that stuff all together.

I think you could probably get about 4-5 PPC cases in there at a time but for a couple bucks you could get a longer acrylic tube and get 10 more no problem, the longer the tube the more cases. It will also use the Hornandy case feeder too I believe , not just the Dillion so keep yours eyes out for a used one.
