I have 2 R700's with Xmark Pro triggers. Strange thing...they are both different.
#1 is a 10 month old R700P .223. This trigger has the pull weight adjustment screw between the bolt release and the hinged floor plate release. This trigger is awesome. It adjusted down very nice and light and it breaks like glass
#2 is a 1 month old R700 SPS Varmint .243. This trigger has the pull weight adjustment screw directly on the trigger. This trigger is awful! It barely dropped the pull weight and it breaks horrible. The screw directly on the trigger is a dumb idea! When you lower it down the screw sticks out of the trigger!
My questions... How many Xmark Pro triggers are there? Does trigger #2 have anymore adjustment besides that 1 screw in the trigger? Does trigger #1 normally have a lower pull weight? I bought both of these rifles new. All and any info is appreciated. Thanks.
