How many of you are using or considering a tripod for hunting?

One more pic, that center shaft folds to the side for even lower positions/shooting. I’ll get a pic of that as well. If he ever brings it home. Lol677609F1-9965-49B8-BE70-F74D256F44C4.jpeg

Couple questions @alf
I just got the 324c and it came with the ball head. Do you prefer the leveling bowl head(lb-65) or was it just to save weight. Also what is attached to the legs on both of yours? Lastly..what did you use to paint them and what was your process? Are all the sections painted or just the top one? Thanks!
I used a ball head for years, & really never saw a down side. When I bought the 364, that didn't come with one, my plan was to switch the ball head between the two. Not that it was a pain to switch, but I decided to try the leveling base on the 364. it worked out so well , I sold the ball head & set up the other tripod the same way. The bonus was a little weight savings (4-5 ozs) and a hair shorter OAL.

The clamp on the legs is a magnetic cell phone holder that I use for the Foxpro's remote. Works great.

I don't do anything special on the camo, just used Krylon camo spray paint, and they are extended all the way, then painted. Basically sprayed them completely with the tan for the base coat, then added the other colors in splotches. Quit when you like it.....
