How fast with freebore increase (25-06)?

Any educated guesses out there on how fast the freebore should increase as I put more and more rounds down the tube of my newly barreled 25-06? Am I going to see any change in the first 300 rounds? How much will it change after 600? How about 1000?

I have found some reports on a couple of other sites that say .003" per 100 rounds is a reasonable expectation for the the first 500 or so rounds, then it will slow down after that.

This reportedly came from a couple of shooters that tracked their required seating depth to hit the lands over the life of their barrels.

Thought this might be of interest to some here.

That is probably reasonable but a lot of it is going to be determined by the composition of the barrel material and also by how hot the load is. Mild loads aren't going to be nearly the issue that hot loads will be. I've got a barrel that has a ton of rounds thru it & it hasn't really moved. Be aware that .010 doesn't mean much to me. Cheap seating dies can vary almost that much.
