How do you talk to Hart Barrels?

I'm trying to get a rifle re-barreled. I've for the most part decided on using Hart Barrels, but over the last few weeks, I can't get them to answer their phone (they probably have caller ID and know it's me), return a message, or respond to messages that I left on their website. What am I doing wrong?

The questions I want answered are:

Will they re-barrel a Nosler M48 action?

What barrel profile is used on the Nosler Liberty rifle?

If the action is Cerakoted, will it need re-Cerakoted after the rebarrel?

How does their Cerakote and Teflon finishes compare?

Will I have to have the stock re-bedded after the re-barrel?

It's a short action, so I'm still debating caliber. I was thinking 7mm-08, but have though about going 308 because I have tons of everything to reload for it and ammo is easy to find (even now). Are you really picking up anything by going to a 7mm? I've thought about other calibers as well.

I just called, spoke with a nice lady and ordered barrels.

That was a year ago. Maybe they are going through a tough time.

Dumb question, but are you calling Hart Barrels or RW Hart Custom Rifles?

I've never had any trouble getting ahold of Hart Barrels during regular business hours.

Just a thought, when I first got started in this, I had them confused!! LOL Keep trying, they are good people.

If you don't reach them by phone it is likely they are at a match somewhere. Karen is VERY good about getting back to emails.

again, make sure its Hart Rifle Barrels NOT RW Hart and sons. Two different places entirely.

They must be back from wherever they were. Today, I received an email and call from Karen. I was in a bad cell service area, so I just got the message. It would happen that I start this thread and get a response right after.

I ordered a barrel from Hart Barrels just a few months back.
I don't think the phone rang more then twice.

I know you are set on a Hart barrel, but if all else fails, try Douglas. I called them a month or so and sent them my barreled action and had a new stainless 6mm REM barrel installed. Took less than 2 weeks and I’m happy with their work.
