How do you make 7MM BR Brass?

A friend of mine bought a Remington XP 100 pistol in 7BR, and since the brass is no longer made I was wondering if there is a link for making these, or does someone have any advice on how to go about doing this? It looks to me as if it could be made from 6BR brass by just running them through a 7BR full length die. Would it be better to step up the neck with a 6.5MM mandrel first and then re-size the entire case with a full length 7BR die? I could be completely wrong about how to create this brass, but I would like help from anyone with this experience.
Thanks

The brass is still made and for sale on many of these forums, here is a link to some here;

All the 6BR brass I've necked up to 7 had to be neck turned to remove the donut. And yes, multiple sizing steps is better than one pass from 6 to 7.

I neck up my 6BR brass to 30BR in one pass. Don't know if it's right or wrong. I then turn the necks. They won't chamber if I don't. Or just buy 7mm BR brass.

I always had good success with the remington 7mm br brass. lasted forever and was good quality compared to most remington offerings......... still available in limited runs and some people have some for sale here a couple of times a month.
