How do you clean your brass?

I usually wipe off any carbon on the necks before leaving the range and then after sizing I will wipe off each piece off with isopropyl alcohol to remove the lubricant. If I mess around and don’t wipe the necks off at the range, I will hit them with some 0000 steel wool. The inside of the necks get one pass with a not so stiff nylon brush and I use an RCBS primer pocket cleaner to knock any crud out of the primer pockets.

I’ve been using this process for several years and I have some 5 and six times fired brass that looks virtually new.

A while back I bought some supposedly twice fired brass off of a forum member and I had never saw brass that nasty in my life. It was all very sticky and I could see black residue on my fingers after handling it. I washed those in hot soapy water, dried them in the sun, and then had my neighbor dry tumble them for me.
