How do you attach your front rest bag ??

I have a older Bald Eagle slingshot front rest. When I bought it...it had a leather front bag glued to the windage top. I don't want to glue a new one on it. How do you attach the bag and still have the top move horizontally ?
Thanx again !

Thanx ... but as I stated don't want to glue the new one on !! Or is this the only way ? The last bag was glued on with bedding material, I had to chisel it off and didn't damage the top.
Thanx again.

They used to come with four tabs, four eyelets, and two shoelaces. You would tie it to the rest top. Since the rest top had metal that rode over top of the base, the laces traveled with the top. Either someone cut the tabs off or they don't come with the eyelets any more. The eyelets are cut off of mine and the bags are glued on both of them.

Both my Bald Eagle windage tops came with side plates that allowed the bag to be clamped in. On my non-windage top I secured a #1 bag for hunting rifle stocks using G E silicone II caulk. The bag can be cut away with a razor to change it.
