HOW DO I RENEW MY GOLD MEMBERSHIP?

It takes me in circles. What am I doing wrong?

Upper left corner of page. Click on the 3 stripes. Scroll down to upgrade membership and click on it. Follow instructions.

I think the issue is your membership hasn't expired yet.
I had the same issue. Forum boss said it changes after your membership expires.

Jackie if your membership has not expired you cannot renew, system doesn't allow it.

I saw this morning where my Gold Membership did expire, I then renewed it.
