How about the 20BR? I have a 1-8 twist barrel from Pac-Nor coming

I was kind of thinking about this cartridge but a friend sold me a bunch of Lapua 6MMBR brass and the 22 BR Redding dies. Guess I've got to do something with it. I've got a Remington 700 223 rifle and was going to offer the action for something like a 20 Tactical or 20 Practical. I'll have to trade and buy a 308 action.

I'd do a 20BR... anything on a BR case is hard to go wrong with unless you want a 338BR or bigger...

I have a 20BR, Built it on a long action, put the block in, for single shot and removed the ejector, the long action is great to get fingers in and remove the fired case.
I have a 22 BR and 6 BR on short actions, but I do like the long action better for a varmint gun.

The BR family is addicting once you head down that path...….

A .20 BR with a 1-9” twist and 55 grain Bergers would be one mean machine.
