New Build.....20BR......I have Some Questions

I am starting a new build in 20BR. I already have a Savage varminter action, a SSS trigger on the way, a Pac-Nor 1:11 SS select match barrel on the way, and a Richards laminate thumbhole target stock, on the way, as well. I have a few questions, from those who've had hands-on with this round, for some advice. I have a 22BR I've been shooting for about 15+ years now. I have about 300+ carefuly sorted cases, which is one of the factors as to whe I am leaning toward the 20BR.

Can I use a 22BR headspace gage to set headspace on this new rifle? I think I can but I am not sure.
Can I use a Wilson bushing neck die in 22BR to neck size only my 20BR cases, with the correct bushing? Again, I think I can but I am not sure.
Can I use the Wilson seater in 22BR with a 20 cal seater stem? Again I think I can.

Thanks in advance,
Bill Ball

Headspace gauge shouldn't be a problem. 6BR,22BR and 20 BR are all the same.
The only problem I ran into with both of my Savage rifles was that there was too much play when the headspace was set with a gauge. Took too much sizing to get the brass to fit back in the chamber.
We use a Wilson Case Gauge to check our brass after it's fired.
With the Headspace being set with a gauge,go/no go), the brass wouldn't fit back in the Wilson when fired. After setting the headspace with full length sized brass, the fired brass drops into the Wilson. Less movement that way and your brass will last longer. All we do is neck size and maybe bump the shoulder after a few firings. And we're only talking maybe .001. We also use a body die if the brass gets snug in the chamber but that's after about 5 firings.

If you've sized the necks on your brass from 6 BR to 22 BR, another step with bushings shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure they're clean and lube the necks before you size them down.
Someone else might have a different way but that's what works for me. ;)

As far as a seater, I use a RCBS Compitition Seater die in .243,6MM) for my 6BR. I use one for the 6 BR, another that I"ve changed the seater stem and bushing guide and it's dedicated for the 22 br. Not sure what you can find for the 20 BR. HTH,Mike.
