Hottenstein Bullets for LR BR

I use the 108 Berger, and my Dasher likes them, so I purchased several thousand.
I checked out the 108 Hottenstein, and it us very similar with respect to weight and BC, but I have not tried them. Curious to see how they work... they are available in 500 count boxes, when I checked, $295.

Today was day one with the 108 grn, Hohenstein, started my test at 200 yards, with H-4350, tried 5 loads and 39.5 grn. @ .005" and .008" into the lands both shot 1/4 moa for 5 shot groups at 3084 Av. and 3076 Av. in my 27" 1-8 Krieger. 39.8 and 40.0 grains opened up.

I will load up 39.3, and 39.0 at the same jam and test next week, (I avoid the range on weekends)! If they don't do any better, 39.5 it will be and I will start playing with other seating depths. But if 1/4 moa. will hold out to 600,,,, 1.5" groups at 600 yards will win most of the matches where I shoot!

I just started shooting Kenny's 68 grn. dbl. ogive BT's in my PPC for BR competition about 4 weeks ago, and 100 yard .068" is my best to date with a couple others in the 0.0's, a lot in the low .1's when I do my job. Only been using them for a month now, and with his 108's shooting like they did today,,,,,, I'll definitely suggest them!

Been shooting alot and I mean alot of Ken's bullets in my ppc. Weight the first 50 or 60 saw what I needed to see, threw them in the box of 500 and went to loading. I'm sure his 108 will be the same. Nothing but top notch hig quality bullets. Rank among my top rated bulletsmiths.
