Last week I posted a comparison of Berger VS Hornady 6mm bullets on the 1000 yd range.
Today I figured that I would do the same with the Hornady 6.5 bullets I have in stock (NO BERGERS).
The loads are identical (40.5gr, H4350, CCI #41 primer and Starline brass) only the bullet was changed.
Below are the results. I am NOT trying to say which are the best but ONLY to post the results for your reference.
I sighted in using the 140 Match bullets.
Once I was sighted in I cleared the target and shot 5 with 140 Match, 5, with 140 A-Max, and 4, with the 140 ELD.
Each square on the target is 1 MOA (10")
Looks like the Berger test I did with the FPS increase differance.
140 Match, G1` .580 - AVG FPS - 1287
140 A-MAX, G1 .585 - AVG FPS - 1327
140 ELD, G1 .646 - AVG FPS - 1373
