hornady superformance primer ?

Hi all , does any one know what primers hornady use for their 75 gr superformance factory load ???

Im sure they use whatever they can get in bulk. Could be different day to day. You should test different ones to see what you like best. And also know they dont use superformance powder in their superformance loads ironically

Being a ball powder I would use Winchester LR primers or any Magnum primer.

Hornady might use > an < unspecified superformance powder in their superformance ammo.
According to Hodgdon they developed about a dozen superformance powders of differing burn rates.
However Hodgdon was only able to use the name on 1 powder and you can find where that one is on the burn rate charts.

Ok ill say it like this- the superformance powder you buy in a can is not loaded into a single superformance factory load. Shoulda been more specific

Reuse of the Superformance name by Hodgdon is going to cause grief. A lot of newbies think the Superformance canister powder is used in all that ammo made by Hornady.
