Hornady powder

Hodgdon LeveRevolution is the problem child.

Marketed as the same powder used in the Hornady LeveRevolufion ammunition line. Billed as a joint effort between the two companies. Makes it easy to have people think it’s a Hornady powder, since it’s sold under a copyright protected name.

But you have to buy it through Hodgdon.

It's the same issue with Superformance.

Not really hating on Hornady but actually speaking from the experiences with Hornady bullets on paper. As one guy posted on another thread sometime back Hornady makes a good bullet for blowing out brass or something to that affect anyway.
Yes Sir Bill, I knew exactly what your talking about. I haven’t ever heard of a bench rest shooter shooting them for competition, but they have a place for steel and cheap Varmint rounds.

Hornady may not be bench rest quality, but then again not everyone shoots benchrest or Fclass either so there's that.

For long range hunting, steel, and PRS they do just as well as the rest at a fraction of the cost.

Pretty easy for me to hold 1/3-1/2 MOA with the ELDM line all the way out to 1200 out of my long range hunting/target rifles. And I've won a few long range matches them myself, when everyone else was shooting Sierras or Bergers, fancy that huh...

To each his own. I just never seen the magic in Hornady.
I like Hornaday bullets for hunting and varmints. I think Joyce Hornaday made a fine bullet for the price back in the day. Interlocks are decent hunting bullets for anything we have in the US and there v-max are nice varmint bullets, it’s all the rest of the crap they sell , the reinventing the wheel with all the new cartridges that they spend millions marketing and every Tom dick Harry think they can spend a $1000 and shoot (wound) some poor deer at ridiculous distances and there stupid pod casts where they ramble on forever about nothing!…
