Hornady custom made dies?

Any of you guys using Hornady custom made dies, the ones you send 3 fired cases or the reamer blue print? Is it worth the 8 week wait?

I have had four custom dies made for me,219 Improved Zipper,260 Rem.6x47 Lapua,219 Donaldson Wasp and the dies are perfect if you know what you want as far as neck tension.I send a sized case with seated bullet so Lonnie can get neck size correct 0.003 under loaded round and seating stem correct diameter on loaded round..

If you are not in a big hurry for your dies they make an excellent FL die . The FL bushing die is all I have experience with . Provide them with as much input as you can, reamer print, fired cases dummy round etc. They can make a die with just a reamer print but the more you give them the better the outcome. You are probably looking at 10 weeks turn around and for me it was worth the wait.
At Hornady if Lonnie is out or unavailable ask for Ben Syring he is also very helpful.

I opted for the FL die with bushings so I could change the neck tension of my rounds for the 6BRX. It was well worth the wait!!
Lonnie does a great job of walking you thru the options and recommendations fro a truly custom die.

Yeh... Hornady "Custom-Grad New-Dimension " dies are worth
every $$$ , and their price isn't bad to start with ).

I wildcat, and all I've had to do is send Lonnie Hummel sample cases, my 6mm is chambered by running an existing 6mm cartridge reamer in "short " )

I've gone to use of only a shoulder bump/neck die for
re-sizing, no FL die use ), and Hornady's s.b.n.d. works superb for this. I use Wilson bushings in mine.

Also, I really like Hornady's universal-style bullet seating die. Hornady is some 3-states over. After I ordered factory- direct, I had my seater die w/ " Micro-just" seater top in only 2 days !
