hornady auto powder dispenser

has a test been done on the hornday lock-n-load auto charge scale & powder dispenser?

What kind of test results ate you looking for? Accuracy? Consistancy? Reliability? Repeatability?
I've used one for about 6 months in short range BR. I LIKE MINE NOW THAT THE KINKS ARE WORKED OUT.

My main problem was throwing to close to set weight and going over quickly. The tech at Hornady was very patient and walked me through the fix. The Micki D's straw didn't help one bit! My main concern is that there are so many adjustments available on the machine and none of them are in print, the instruction sheet is not really helpful at all.
As compared to some of my buddies RCBS...I find no reason to spend more money unless you want the scale to be removable as it is on the green one.
I shot a few matches using the Hornady with my 30 br and could find little if any difference between weighing individual charges and and using the machine. I have an old Ohaus tripple beam that is pretty darn accurate. BUT.... as most here will say "you aint shootin 1000 yds boy" and they're right, at 1, 2, and 300...I think it's plenty!

Used mine a lot the past year or so. Frustrated at the start. The instruction sheet is a joke and an embarrassment to Hornady. They offer good tech support and do have a download with additional instructions. Initial issues with overages and resetting will be understood quickly. Just seek help and "play" a little.

Friends with the RCBS don't seem to get any better results. Mine works well and I would be lost without it.
