Hornady 500 count bullet packaging

Just recieved my order for 500 Hornady 6mm 105gr HPBT. The prior box I got had a big bag with 500 bullets in it. This has 5 bags of 100 bullets. Just curious if they are all the same lot ( used in a msr) , so they are not used for bench rest. I will probably contact Hornady, as i find strange, and want to confirm the lot #. Anyone else have this happen? Sealed box, etc...rsbhunter

They'll be the same lot.They've been doing that with pistol bullets in the 500 box for a while.

I got 2 boxes (100 ea.) of Hornady 6mm 87 gr Vmax the other day and the bullets weren't in the customary plastic bag in the box.

Thanks for the replies, i'm not real worried, but was wondering if this might not be the new "norm".... I'll use em cause everything else is unobtainium... rsbhunter
