I was wondering if anyone has used the Hornady 4DOF solver for ELR and found a limitation with the sight height input variable. Specifically, the current max is 4 inches. My sight height is 6.5 inches. The reason for such elevation is to clear a 34 inch barrel with a 14 inch suppressor and a 40mm diameter scope when 50 or more mils is required using a 375 cheytac reaching out to 3000 yards plus. Either a very high fixed MOA rail or something like and Ivey Base is required. I contacted Hornady but the generic help line was not particularly helpful and they would not provide an email for the 4DOF Solver people. I doubt using a linear projection for various elevations and "predicting" what anything over 4 inches in scope height "should" produce would be either valid or even "close" to reality. Any suggestions in this regard would be helpful.
