G'day on ya !

I used the 75 "A" max with my " .22-35 Remington " wildcat, for shooting North East Indiana groundhogs.
These are robust, burrowing marmots; that range from around 8lb up to the incidental over-acheiver that might weigh in the low 20lb+ region..... when fattened up pre-hybernation.

I used the bullet for both varmint & target work. My rifle had a 28" SS K & P 1-8 twist 5-groove.
With the gun, I felt I had a solid 1,000yd capability in either discipline. They provided clean kills on groundhogs at all ranges I got to use them at. I experienced zero "crawlers".

My powder of choice was AA3100, and I used FED Large Magnum Rifle Match primers.

The 75 "A"-Max's seated just fine when using a Hornady bullet seater die.

Best of luck in your endeavors !

Yeah considering what I want these projectiles for half the weight of what you're dealing with hahahahahahahahhaha...
Mate this the funniest thing I have read in months

Use G7 value of 0.210 as a starting value
Thanks but I use g1 for under 800 and even then really dont use g7 until I go past 800 yards.
And yes I have seen the difference between the two at range .
G1 short range (sub 800) g7 long for me .
Sorry Beiruty I mist the starting bit . I'm a skim reader .....
The main reason for so many edits

Howdy, again !

Say... if you like to read about some of my exploits w/ grounghogs; take a look in the "Varmint and Hunting"
forums for a post title " Trapping Groundhogs " dated 27 Jul 2022. I made a response to the OP on that same day.

Cheers' mate !

If you don't want them... seriously, they shoot really well in my Tikka based 223. I joined another club last year and, first time at the range, shot a 60 5x.at 600 yds ( Thats a 100 5x for you foreigners). Nice not to make an ass in front of the guys. Load was Varget and 75g A-Max. No more around here, some 108s starting to trickle in.
More load development!
