I’ve seen several requests for a review of the Hood reloading press, I did one on YouTube a few months ago, link below.

Been using a Hood for 25 years. A couple benefits are not having to drag an arbor press around and compact to fit in loading box.

Late in the video ~around the 23:00 mark he mentions the arm is quite short and after sizing 100 cases he felt it . (That’s not verbatim just generalizing his comment. )
I have been considering this press, and leverage was something I was wondering about, anyone care to weigh in ?

Most likely depends on which cartridge you're working with. I'm most all 6PPC and it's not an issue. Larger case, may be an issue.

I use mine for 6BRA and no problem at all. It’s a great press and I highly recommend it.

I've got two of these. I use one for a 7 Max, 300 Mega cases. These presses are the only presses I've ever used that will keep should bump consistently within 1/2 thousand or so. The handles for fine for the larger cases.

I thought 308 win was as large as the press will go….

Great press....I use it for 7/6.5PRC...300WSM....284Shehane. Imo it's one of the best presses on the market.
