Bush Jr. later declared that the government has the right to protect ITSELF from threats foreign AND domestic, by ANY means. He also established the US(government) as a first strike entity.
Recently Attorney General Eric Holder confirmed the government has right to murder U.S. citizens anywhere, anytime, without legal review.
Obama has our military training right now to quash any and all domestic protesting of mythical imminent threat to gov't interests.
These precedence(which have greatly dishonored us) will be used to bear our military on American streets. And our police, and gov't infrastucture, are daily militarizing.

Mikecr, how old are you sir? 40x how old are you sir? I am familiar with the militarizing of civilian forces and keep hearing the wonderful speech bout a civilian force as equipped and well funded as the military. For Gods sake what would that be for but?????? I suppose the first thing that has to be done is identifying the enemy. Are they on the television or behind the scenes?

I had to pretty much LMAO today on way home from a match as I could pick out the bars and peoples houses where people are partying away their roman circus lives as to the start of the NFL today, and the Steelers don't even play until tonight. : Keep them occupied!

Frank, those documents in the archives have that effect on me also, It really makes me realise what our founding fathers were up against when they stood up against the king of England back then. Facing a hanging for treason if they failed, and sympathisers around every corner. I cant even fathom the courage. Came across this article where a homeowner and his wife were detained or arrested for causing Grievous Bodily Harm to burglars breaking into their home.
Four burglars, two hit with shotgun blasts. According to the article the home owner used a legally owned shotgun for the defense then he and his wife are arrested in addition to the four burglars.

I`m from Austria in europe.
Shelf Defense is here in europe a very bad thing and gun owners are seen by the public like criminals or psychopats. Also the gun laws get harder and more stupid.

We have a right for shelf defense but it`s different from the US. When a burglar come in your home you are not allowed to shoot him when he has no weapon. When you shot him you come to prison. When the burglar is armed (knife, firearm etc) and you make first a warning shot it`s ok. In a stress situation this is realy hard for homeowners with less firearms training to do the right thing.

In GB Tony Blair has forbidden 1996 all handguns. Shotguns are allowed with special license. Since 1996 crime rise up dramatically. The criminals have guns - the public is unarmed.


Some historic: The first gun registration law was invented by Adolf Hitler. All guns must be registrated in Nazi Germany and after that, all Juds and all people that were not a member of the NSDAP gets unarmed and were cart away to prision or concentration camps.

One thing that always urks me as city peeps dont think any different than you do. Living in rural areas does not make you more patriotic than me or lots of folks I know that feel the government is a bloated pig.Division is what seperates and conquers a people in general so think before you lump us all under one umbrella.

I get uneasy about the future at 45 with two young ones coming up. I can't help but to think of the vets rolling in their graves. The net is as powerful as guns we need to keep it.
We need to push the NRA and make it "the social club to belong to" and pray we catch the wolves in sheep's clothes. Start including are you a member of the NRA in more conversations.

I hope all works out well for the defending family.

I gonna go put on a fresh NRA bumper sticker on.
I hope we put somebody that knows how many states there are in the wh That should be a prerequisite.

I'm pretty sure there are many politicians who don't really have a country in office right now. Anyone here been to a liberal arts college in the ast 10 years. They're teaching that our founding fathers were the devil??? How would that make the constitution look to our children?
