Homebrew Steel Target Stand

Hi All,

I thought I'd show some pics of the target stand I designed and built. That support member in the rear is connected to the main assembly with a U-joint! The plywood back is spring-loaded. (Of course the wood is only a mockup for the final steel silhouette.)

Do you think itll stay upright with a solid hit? The plates ive shot swing violently and need to do so to dissipate the energy. Keep us posted on how it works it does look nice

I think the tripod will be stable enough but it won't take long for the legs to get shot out from underneath it unless you are shooting at ranges where you get mostly hits.
