Hollow base powder grains

When reloading 115 gr. hollow base bullets do I use the same grain of powder or less cause it's the same grain bullet just hollow base not solid

They come in very close for my rigs, but it is always wise to back off a little from your previous settings and work your way back up any time you change a bullet.

Thanks Normally I load 4.0 to 4.5 grains"what it calls for usually it's 4.3. I'll make it 4.2 grains and try it out Thanks.

I'll assume the OP is talking about pistol loads

Lloyd
Good point Lloyd, we are assuming the 115 hollow base means the 9mm heavy plate hollow base similar to the popular Berry’s Bullets as an example.

Still a good idea to work up the bullet change to play it safe cause any bullet or powder batch change has the potential for shifting things up or down a little.

Mine average very similar with TightGroup, roughly 4.3 to 4.4 to hit spec out of a Glock 34 factory bbl,
