Has anyone purchased a custom rifle from Darrell Holland,http://www.hollandguns.com)?

I'm curious to hear what your experience was in dealing with him.

I have not bought one from him myself, but i have read of alot of happy people with his work in the VHA magazine . He is a very highly thought of gunsmith .

I have had Darrell build a custom varmint rifle in .243AI for me off one of my Rem 700 Actions. The wood work, piller glass bedding and metal work are all done very nicely. When I do my part the rifle will shoot under 0.50 with most loads and some loads shooting under 0.30. For a varmint rifle shot by a weekend shooter this is very good. If I knew how to read the wind and pilot the rifle better I am sure the rifle would shoot even tighter groups.
I would have Darrell build an other rifle for me anytime.

He did one for me years back and there was never a issue with it......
He seems to do good enough work......
