Most likely is a trick of the camera and head movement. Less likely is someone tried a head shot and it healed up. They're very simple creatures. I've seen a hog have a quarter of its skulled removed with a 7mm mag get up and live a couple of weeks afterward. It would like have lived longer, but another bullet to the head did it in.
