Not the same at all. Will imr 4895 work
Try some N135 with those rifles/loads, you might be pleasantly surprised. N135 has been around fairly regularly and is noticeably less expensive than H4895.I wish i had stocked up on more while it was around. Use it in my 204r and 6br. So those rifles are barly getting used last few years.

They seem to have gone up a bit recentlyNed thanks for pointing that out. Why have VV powders not gone price crazy? I have used 165 for one of my rifles for a long time and that is what a paid for the last batch years ago.
I couldn't begin to tell you. I only started using the VV powders recently, as alternatives to help me conserve my Hodgdon powders solely for use in competition. For whatever reason, they generally seem to be priced lower on a pound-for-pound basis. With Hodgdon's availability issues, it may be that I eventually switch over to the VV alternatives on a permanent basis, but I'm not quite to that point yet.Ned thanks for pointing that out.
