About the same as hobsons other powders. Wasnt long ago they were some of the cheapest out there. If you want some sticker shock, go over to Graf’s and look at the price on popular Accurate powders this morning. This doesn’t look good.
I think they showed a pound of IMR 4350 at $60+.

4 1/2 cents a shot on 24 grain load for 223 with AA2495.Just like everything else.
We use a 2x3 high pressure pipe bushing. Was selling them for $44. Reorder the same thing cost is now $77.
How much is the increase per shot?
I used to think most people couldn't spell and have terrible grammar until I experienced how frustrating "auto correct" can be. Sometimes it isn't worth the headache to keep telling the device that you meant what you typed.Come on guys we all make spelling mistakes. James, depending on what your friend is loading the 4198 in, he might check out CFE Blk as a replacement for now.
What part of the country are you in?A friend of mine is needing Hogdon 4198 powder, anyone know where it is available?
Thanks!
Minnesota, the state with 3 months of bad sledding.I've got about 2lbs of H4198 I'll sell, but I'm in Minnesota. I also have an 8lb and 2 one pounders of H4895 I'd part with, but not easily.
God I'd hate to see some of you at the range.
This year, not even that long!Minnesota, the state with 3 months of bad sledding.
