Clean your bolt and action thoroughly. I use break cleaner. Then put a very light coat on the contact areas. You do not want oil dripping or anything close to that. Be very careful not to get any on the trigger areas. It does not take much too cause problems. You will be amazed at how much smoother your bolt will run.Just order a bottle, hopefully it helps my bolt.

Bolt timing and extractor. I see guys in their videos opening and closing bolts with just their pinky finger.I feel like most of the major resistance in on the opening and closing of the bolt.
I'm trying to find ways of not upsetting my rifle in thr front rest when extract a case and close it back.
Well I would think it being a custom action ( even though a older action Hall ) it would already be timed. This is on a 6ppc so there isnt a extractor .Bolt timing and extractor. I see guys in their videos opening and closing bolts with just their pinky finger.

Whoever installed the last trigger should have timed it. It didnt come that way since it didnt have a triggerWell I would think it being a custom action ( even though a older action Hall ) it would already be timed. This is on a 6ppc so there isnt a extractor .
