Here in ND 2 w fav PD rifles. 19 Sept 2020

I was recently back in ND (my old stomping grounds) for the first time in nearly 12 years. I can’t believe how much Bismarck-Mandan has blown up. Oil money I suppose.
You can find some quiet places. heck - it's North Dakota. think positive. :)

Indeed. Was hoping to get back to Beulah/Hazen area up by the lake, but didn’t make it this time. Used to fish the dam and knife river quite regularly.

Calm wind is 10 mph, windy starts at 18 mph.

Last time I shot off the ground was in Valentine, Nebraska. A rattle snake crawled out of a hole 6 feet away, things were interesting eyeball to eyeball for what seemed like an eternity. My partner shot him. Found out the area was a denning area for rattlers.

Come on Bill, I have been going there for 26 yrs and only 4 other people know where. ( 5 counting the wife ) Don't spoil the secret by inviting everybody! lol Tom.
If I thought anyone could figure this out- well. take that 2 track. from somewhere near Baker, MT, or head up HWY 85. Dickinson is - close. Belle Fourche is hard by. Medora is a good bet. Then there is Miles, MT. Acton, and Laurel. Montana. All good bets. :) South of Gillette WY. Butch Cassidy's ranch. yup I shot there. Wish you were here.

Well, you set the standard. CCI #9 shot in a .357 is useful. If you are 3' away. Me - 1st 3 are shot, next 3 are lead 150-160 gr. Ruger Blackhawk. Never shot any snake, cougar or human w em.

ok thanks

These are the sun coming up and the moon going down one morning on the way to my range. This is where I work in ND

2 1/2 hrs north of Dickinson, 20 minutes south of Canada and 45 minutes to Montana. Up here the time zone follows the Missouri River, we're on the north side so it stays daylight from about 4 AM to past 10 PM in the peak of summer.
