Henry Now Making Revolvers

I haven't handled any Henry's. Not in the market for another lever gun. I doubt they will have the smoothness or pointability of an early Savage 99 or a pre 60's Win. 94. The brass receivers don't do anything for me.
I have several Henry lever actions they are pretty smooth not bad. My BHA .500 after break in is way smother than my Henrys. The difference the BHA is a top eject like the old Model 94 Winchesters. I have found that a top eject always seems smother than the side ejects. As a lefty the top ejects are more friendly.

Most that have a lot of experience in this kind of thing say that the Rugers with a modern design coil springs are the most dependable revolver on the market. There was once an article in shotgun news about never seeing a double action Ruger at a gun show. The writer went to find out why, seems they never break. He went to the Ruger factory and the double action repair space was an 8x8 room with and not many broken guns and one guy in it.

Some things I like about Henry. Pro USA and customer service. I have a Henry big boy 45 Colt, no complaints, accuracy is decent and I shoot it surpressed so the threaded barrel was a nice touch. It’s the only Henry I own. I broke it down for a thorough cleaning a couple months ago and in the process lost a screw (never paint your man cave floor with speckled epoxy color patterns). I found a parts diagram of the rifle and sent Henry an email explaining what happened and the part number. I was honest and told them I lost the screw and was happy to pay for another one. The email I got back stated a new screw was being sent out free of charge, a week later I had the new screw and that was that. That experience was refreshing, wish more companies operated like that. I don’t care for the revolver, they could have modernized a bit more as far as sights and looks but I don’t wish them any ill either. Although I prefer my Marlins and Browning lever actions the big boy has served me well and been a ton of fun.

I don't think they look bad. I would like to handle one to see how the balance is and how the action felt. It looks like it comes with two grip options. I would like to see one in 45 colt.

Got a chance to see and handle both versions at the NRA show yesterday. Not too impressed with it in any fashion having not shot one. Looks like they tried to come out with a utilitarian/work horse revolver but, to see it just didn't appear to be a rugged design. In reference to the price point, I would be in around the $250. - $300 price point.
