Henry lever action rimfire rifles

I picked up a youth compact .22 awhile back, gave it a good cleaning and a coat of EEZOX then put the box on the shelf in the closet. Now its waiting for my first grandson who is 8 months old to turn 12 years old (or when I think he's ready)

My loving wife bought me a Winchester 9422 for my 25th Birthday in 1974. I shot paper and tin cans with mainly Winchester T-22's for years. It cycled fairly smoothly but the trigger was a little on the heavy side with some creep. She paid about $98.00 for it at a WT Grants. I finally sold it on consignment for $875 at a local gun shop and it wasn't even an XTR. I have shot other lever action 22's, my Dad's Browning BL22, a friends Marlin 79, recently a friend's Rossi, but never a Henry, yet.
