I have a Remington xr-100 chambered in 22-250. I was wanting to rechamber in 6br. Any suggestions on twist or barrel make will be greatly appreciated. Will rechambering be the only thing required to complete the build. Thanks in advance.

I have built several F-Class 6BR's on XR100's. they are a terrific platform and that is one sweet little action.
I'd suggest getting a Krieger Heavy Palma contour (It will fit that stock without need for milling out) in a 1:8 twist, .236 bore.
I personally have the actions accurized and I also replace the triggers with Jewells, but that isn't essential. Lightening the trigger will definitely be a good thing.

I also found that the David Tubb adjustable butt plate system made this a better stock for shooting prone as I do in F-Class.
Get the stock bedded and have fun!

I've heard that the firing pin has to be filled down... is that true?
