Help with Wichita Classic No.11 scope base?

Helping out my father-in-law. He is searching for a base(s) for his newly acquired Wichita Classic No.11. He has called and talked with Talley and they have sent him two different sets of scope bases, neither of which fit. He would prefer a one piece but two piece would work. I haven't searched myself but i looked at a few of the other places like Murphy precision and they don't list Wichita as one of there products (probably should call them). Anyone out there have a lead for me? If not I'm gonna have to order a blank and make one. Thanks in advance for the help.

I would get Kelblys to make you a dovetail rail and use dovetail rings,,,would look nice on that rifle,,,it is a work of art,,,,I had one with low ###'s ,,,wish I still had it,,,Roger

Blank (undrilled) steel dovetail rails are available from several manufacturers for around $100. Aluminum is less. European is twice the price. Any machinist or gunsmith could lay it out and drill 4 holes.

BAT Machine might can help you. They make a set of 1 piece rings with a flat bottom. You need to measure your hole spacing and give them a call.
Good Luck

Bill

Thanks Bill! I’m just gonna order a blank and machine it myself if i don’t hear from the owner of Wichita Arms. I can make the time....
