Borden action scope base question

Does anyone know if Borden actions have a unique scope base mount pattern?

Just acquired a used action which currently has 2 piece bases. I'd like to mount a picatinny rail.

Thanks for looking.

OK, so forgive my ignorance. I seem to have asked the wrong question or not provided enough information. It's a model TPE. Is that a BR, BRM, BRC, ......

I've no idea.

Edit - I just discovered from on line research what TPE stands for.

I'm liking this! The man is VERY interesting and has a sense of humor!

I'll wait until Jim responds. Sent an email but he's unable for a few days. I can wait.

The TPE is a older action for sure, web info is minimal. I'd say send Jim a email but his website kinda looks like they may be on vacation. I just put a Murphy Precision on my BRM, took a couple weeks to get as his Borden rails are made to order I believe. Weight wasnt a concern, the quality is excellent, isn't my first and won't be my last.

I really like the history behind it. It'll remain in my possession as long as I'm alive simply because of the story behind it.

My kind of guy.

Yeah, my Borden inventory is growing! It is a good story. I recently passed on a TPE. Hopefully I'll get another opportunity, I've got a idea for 1.

You got my interest now, I remember Jim said he was formerly in the Toilet Paper sales business?
Yes he was.

I would not take sides in an argument between Borden and Kelby, because they have forgotten more than I will ever know about actions......... BUT...... I have great respect for Toilet Paper Engineers.

I spent 40 years in the Paper Film and Foil Converting industry, and my company provided Tension Control products for everything from tissue, to recording tape, to diapers, band aids, scotch tape, blown film, printing ,embossing, laminating, winding and unwinding.
"Toilet Paper Engineers" designed and developed machines which were hundreds of feet long and extremely complex. Think of a sheet of paper being processed at 1000 feet per minute, and when it breaks, what a pileup of product, and a costly re thread of the machines hundreds of rollers.

I had a Borden action and it was wonderful, and was designed by a "Toilet Paper Engineer", so I think of it as high praise.
