Help with this mark on my case...

1B6D4621-BE9F-48C7-BAFA-EBAFBA0CE500.jpeg Just removed this case from my son’s 270 Win (Ruger American)... this case is standing upright and I took the photo from above. Do you see that shiny spot on the rim of the case mouth? This brass has now been fired 3x. H4831SC and 140 gr Accubond. Noticed the mark on all cases loaded from 56.0 through 58.0 grains powder, but not on the 55.7 gr load. All cases measured under the recommended trim-to length, so none were trimmed at all. All cases annealed, chamfered, FL sized in aForster die without the expander button, Deburred, Sinclair expander mandrel (.002” under bullet diameter) then seated with Forster ultra micrometer. No signs of excessive pressure, and brass never hit the ground. I haven’t seen much in the short time I’ve been reloading, but never seen this. Awfully curious... any ideas? Thanks

BTW... I could not feel this spot, and it is only visible from the angle in the photo.

Not a big deal to most. You will read about guys that pull their ejectors out, customs actions with no ejector at all, cutting springs, etc. This is done to protect their brass. You'll understand why when you pay a buck a piece for Lapua and spend many hours sorting and prepping them.;)
