Help with the proper mounting combination.

I shoot L-R with a sling and irons as well as optics. I have a Stolle Big Bore Panda with the intragal 20moa piccatinny rail (all 1 piece and part of the receiver). Until late last year I was using a NF NXS 8-32x56 with Leupold QRW rings so I can get the scope off quickly knowing I will get a good return well to -0- after shooting the irons. Last fall, I gritted my teeth and purchased a 10-60x52 March scope. Now, here in lies the problem. I can't get the March scope far enough forward to obtain a proper eye relief and a full field of view. To get that I need to lengthen my stock to the point that I feel like I’m shooting someone else’s rifle. I have a Leupold mount that is designed for an AR platform that moves the scope forward but then I need to raise the cheek piece really high. I'm looking for any advice that someone can offer to help me to solve this problem. If you need measurements, dimensions etc. feel free to PM or e-mail me.
Thanks,
Lloyd

How about leupold extension ring's .I would almost swear they make qrw's with offset's built into them. Call them directly to see if they make them or could. Maybe kelblys could make a set of offset rings for this application.

Sell the March; go back to the NF (or maybe their new 15-55 model, if its config is the same as the NXS).

Problem solved. 8)

Weaver makes extension/offset rings for the pic rail...either one standard ring and an extension or two extensions in the set. I use a dual set for a shortbody scope to move it back far enough for proper eye relief. I found a set at Optics Planet and so far work well, no complaints. They come in the standard height selections although low rings are tough to find (50mm objective). One of the p/n's is WR-RR-ADABEE-49045 from Optics Planet. Hope that helps.
