I have a bar shorttrac in 270 WSM. Last year I never had a problem with it cycling. Since then I had my trigger lightened by a gunsmith. This year it has started hanging up. It will ususally fire two rounds, and then not feed the third into the chamber. The second round is ejected, but third doesn't go into chamber.
I took it apart and cleaned it the best that I could.
I really don't see how pullin the trigger group out and smoothing the sear on the trigger, should have anything to do with the cycling.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also if I have to send this gun back to Browning, do you think they will see that the trigger has been tampered with and adjust it back to the original 4-5lb pull?
