WANTED Help with shipping a Heavy Gun from PA

farmer44 on this forum has an old school BR rifle that I would love to have, but it’s FTF only. It’s big and heavy. Can someone in PA help out with this? I’m thinking two packages; barreled action to FFL and stock sent to my house. With a combined weight of 48 pounds, I think this would be manageable. Of course I would pay for your help. I can send a rifle case for the barreled action.

Stainless steel 416 barrel made by Hart barrels Lafayette, NY.
30" 1 3/8 dia. 1:10 Twist, rifle weighs 48 lbs. 1lb 5oz trigger pull.

Comes with brass dies, etc. due to weight not practical to ship but will meet in PA. Depending where you are located.

I found a gun shop five miles away from farmer44. They’re closed today and tomorrow. I’ll call them on Tuesday to see if they can help.

I would not imagine the ATF would see my idea as a straw purchase. It would be shipped to my local FFL where I would fill out a form 4473 and get a background check.
