Help with Reload data on REM223, 70 VLD Berger

I recently purchased some 70 grain Berger VLD bullets to try in my 223 Tikka bolt action. Can anyone help with what Berger recommends as far as reloading data, coal, etc? Maybe a photo from a reloading manual?

This is my first attempt using this high B.C. bullet and I would greatly appreciate any help and words of wisdom for reloading this. Thank you for any help you can lend.

Great bullet in my 1-9 Krieger barrelled action, I've had best results loaded just on the lands, not jammed, Lapua brass, powder that gives 100 % case fill - varget burn rate @ 3000 + fps , cci primers. Loads of data available on line.

When I say 100% that includes the seated bullet, even slightly compressed works, again usual pressure sign rules apply

I shoot the 70 gr. Bergers seated touching the lands, on top of a light charge of n133, 20 grains. Federal 205m primers, Lapua cases.
My rifle is a Hart barreled, 8 twist, Stiller Predator V action.
The stars and planets all aligned that day at the range. I shot 3 - 5 shot groups that averaged .18 at 100 yards.

Overall length is dependent on your magazine. Also your chamber. Most often if you load to magazine length you will not be touching the rifling. You can check your rounds with a black magic marker to see if the bullet is or is not touching the rifling. Lt32 powder is hard to beat in accuracy with your combo.

Does anyone have the Berger manual recommendation with Varget and what they publish for COAL. I will try regardless close to the lands to start. I had been using 69 grain SMKs and Varget with success in the past....

If you email Berger and let them know what bullet and cartridge, they'll send you the load data. At least they used to do that.

I load the 70 vld with 24.9 of varget and a cci 400. Loaded to AR mag length they shoot very well out of a 18" AR with a suppresor. They do not show any blatent signs of pressure at this load which with the softer cci400 and the suppresor I would expect to see if the load was on the north side of pressure. As an extra data point finished a hunters trophy fallow buck today with this load and performed it very well in a large pre rut fallow buck. As usual this worked well for me and suggest you work up to find acceptable pressure in your particular rifle.

Extra note this was in pmc once fired brass.
