Help with rear bag

I need a good rear bag. Problem is, I have no idea how to measure for it.
I think most critical is the distance between the ears.
Is ear height a thing also?

So how do I measure for ear width?

Need to know type of stock, i.e. Hunting, F class, SR BR, LR BR? Generally rabbit ears (tall ones) will not work with a integral cheek piece. Some like the stock to ride the heel while others prefer to ride above the flat portion on the base of the ears. I prefer the latter in SR BR.

Mcmillan A2 stock. I guess it's considered a hunt stock, but I use it in F Open, 6 Dasher. I have an integral cheekpiece.

For a hunting style stock I'd go with a narrow ~1/4" gap between and short ears or mid ears. Call Protektor direct and they will steer you to one that will work.
