I'm 76 and in good health, and love to hunt coyotes by myself and with others. I've been carrying my gear (caller, remote, small binocs, range finder, etc.etc) in a bag slung over my right shoulder, and my rifle slung over my left. Generally I carry my folding seat and shooting bipod in my hands.
After taking a spill a week ago while hunting in NM, I realize I needed to re-organize how I "load up." Fortunately the damage was minimal...except to my ego
, but I wasn't able to get my hands in front to break the fall.
After researching the situation and talking with friends, I checked out packs that would carry my rifle safely and securely, as well as my other gear.
I purchased and have received my Eberlestock Gunrunner pack, and it holds the rifle and gear very well. I am VERY pleased with it!
My question for you: what's the best way to attach my bipod and folding seat to the pack? I've searched some Molle possibilities, but so far haven't been successful.
Please take a look at this photo, and tell me what you think.
Thanks,
George
PS: called and killed two on the hunt.....
