Help with FoxPro sound selection

Guys,

I really need your help on tis one. I bought a FX3 from the Blue Eyed Bear on this forum a couple of weeks ago.



Here is my problem, it is programmed elk,moose and several different calls that I do not want....There are not too many elk or moose in South Georgia.


I have spots for 16 calls that I want to delete.

Coyote and Foxes are what I have the most of in GA.

What are your favorite calls for the FoxPro for Coyotes and foxes.




I need the top 16 calls that you like.....

What is the main food of your fox and coyotes in Georgia?

I would for sure get cotton tail distress, vole, rodent distress, crow fight, fawn in distress, lucky bird, woodpecker, female invite howl, locator howl, pup in distress, and coon fight.

Do you have jack rabbits in Georgia? If so get that one too.

Do not get the coyote challenge. It's been my experience that hearing a louder than normal male tends to make all dogs in the area turn around and go away from the call.

Once you get into calling you'll have to get hand calls. More rewarding,in my opinion) and you don't have to lug the machine around!

I think they need to come up with some chicken feeding sounds. I thought about this a couple of months ago and asked on Woody's Campfire and several people responded positively. One guy even had an Ebay chicken decoy mounted on the Foxpro box.

I graduated to hand calls a few years ago!

I like hand calls too; but with conjunction with the foxpro.

Sounds that have been good for me are:

Cottontail Dist 1
DSG Cottontail
Lucky Bird
Coyote Pup Distress
Ki-Yi

The new Mark II sounds,real prey sounds)are out & and I also have a few of those. I don't have much experience with them yet but...

Lightning Jack & Scream'n Rabbit have called in critters so far.

Well, my wife says Im always a pain in the ass.

Dont overlook the small bird and turkey distress calls,they are calls that dont get used a lot and they dont hear too often unless its the real thing.

Chuck, It is breeding season for coyotes here in Texas. We use Johnny Stewart calls with CD's, a buddy of mine has a recording that mimics some coyote premating sounds,i guess) anyway it is very effective right now.

Most of the other times of the year we use Bunny in distress and Baby Rodent crying most effectively. As strange as it may sound in May we have a period where Baby Puppies is the hot thing and the coyotes will run over you to get to a baby pup.

The decoys that move and flop around are awesome we wont set up anymore without putting at least one of these out.
