Help with bipods

I have an aluminum stock with a sling swivel 6.5 Creedmore just scoped it looking for a bipod the prices are very high what would be a good one for this rifle w/o breaking the bank. Also just bought a 6MM Creedmore Ruger Gen II rifle don't have it yet so don't know what kind of bi-pod I would need I need some thing that won't break the bank I am more or less a fun shooter Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated Maybe one I could use on both rifles No picture of the Ruger yet LouIMG_0467.JPG IMG_0466.JPG

I can tell ya this. With Bi-pods ya get what ya pay for. I bought a few cheap ones, and they fell apart. I only buy the Harris ones with the tilt feature. $120 and it works.. I also replace the knob that won't stay tight with a $8 lever affair I bought on-line.

Agree with this... I haven't bought alot of bipods but I have handled a bunch of them... I also use Harris but you definitely get what you pay for in the world of bipods.... Take your time , do your research and get the one that's right for what your going to use it for.... A good one will work , last and be steady a cheap one , not so much...

A harris 6-9" notch leg swivel is my go to bipod. It works for pretty much anything and very versatile, I prefer them over an Atlas.

If you are planning on shooting F-class you may want a wide F-class style one but you wouldn't want to use one of those in the field hunting, the Harris fits the hunting need and the bench need also attaches to the single sling swivel.

In the end nothing costs a much a bullets if you are competing. Anything you can buy once is a bargain at about any price if you are playing the game.

I think the only thing that is going to attach to the sling swivel is a Harris or a Sinclair. Pretty much everything else will need an accessory rail or a picatinny rail.

To buy those rifles and scopes then think bipods are high priced is probably bad thinking.

Pay what you have to to complete a quality rig.

That's probably a Harris.

I really boils down to what you intend to use the rifle for. If for PRS or Tactical Sniper type of work, a traditional bipod would work. If you plan to compete in F-Class then I would go with a Rorer from Sinclair.

For a traditional bipod I wouldn't buy anything less than a Harris as far as price goes. The Harris is a well build unit.

The Atlas is a step above and has the price tag to go along with it. It is well North of 2x the Harris.

Both are easy to mount and remove so moving from one rifle to another is easy enough. The Atlas has a lot of accessories that you can purchase including spiked feet, leg extensions, etc. The Harris is what you buy. I would get the swival type and make sure you buy the handle kit for it.
