Help with barrel

I'm thinking of building a 10/22. Not necessarily a benchrest rifle but one that would most of the time have a Phoenix or Seb joypod bipod on it. I will probably put it in a 3" wide benchrest stock with a removable adapter for the bipod. Stocks are what I do for a living. My question is, what barrel would you guys put on it? A Lilja or Green Mountain. Or something else entirely. Looking for 1/2" or better at consistently at 50 yds with its liked ammo.
I have a semi custom now with a GM barrel and with Federal automatch its pretty consistent 1/2" at 50 yds. Yesterday at 200 yds in a slight breeze, 4 mags were 7,7,8,9 out of 10 hits on a 6" swinger. For the conditions I was happy.

I would look at Feddersen barrels, I have 2 and both shoot very well. May not fit your style, etc., but worth a look.

I would second the Feddersen suggestion....very accurate barrels in my experience.

Lilja and GM are on opposite sides of the spectrum. If you're already getting what you want from another GM, why not dbl down? MOA from a 22 RM is not hard to accomplish IMO, so why spend the big bucks? GM uses a Bentz chamber, not a match. Just my .02 cents. FWIW, I've always had good luck with GM's. But I'm not shooting comp either.

I put a ready made Shilen on a Brownell's action. Shoots great with Fiocchi, among others.

Just an FYI to the OP. I tried to order a Lilja straight contour, .920, 21” bull barrel for my Powder River Precision 10/22 build and they are out of them. You can backorder them, the lady said it would be sometime in the summer before they have anymore. They do have some tapered sporter barrels in stock.

I built a 10/22 using a Brownells receiver, Shilen Ratch barrel And a MDT ORYX stock.
Still breaking in the Barrel. So can't say how it shots Yet.
but if it will shoot close to my Turbo with a Ratchet barrel shoots
I will be very happy
