HELP with a new Varmit Build!!!

I am trying to figure what cailber would be the best for what I am looking for. I want to be able to shoot 55 grain bullets at 3800fps or faster. I had a 220 Swift that I absolutly loved. It would push 55 grain Noslers at 3825fps.

So what would y'all reccommend? 220 Swift...22-250AI...243...6mm something...ect...ect..???

I have a 22-250 26" bbl Hart, on 700 trued action, with 41 gr of h414 i get 3725, 55 Sierra bking, and no sign o f pressure, shoots <.2"

if you need 3800fps, the 22-250AI is the answer, i have no complaints of this gun to 600yd

.22-250AI. word is that lapua will be making .22-250 brass. get a 9" twist 26" barrel. shoot 55-75 grain bullets, and you will have something

You could go with a 6mm Remington and shoot 58 Hornady V-Max at 4055 from a 26" barrel. Start at 45.0 Varget and work up in .5 increments. A top load is very accurate in my rifle with ES/SD of 9.9/3.95. It has a 9" twist and shoots 55 to 95 grain bullets very well.

Crows almost evaporate when hit with the V-Max.

This is the custom that I just brought home (.22-250 AI):

Had it built for varmints from bench. Weighs in right at 17.5#.

If you do not mind a few extra steps forming brass the 20BR will outperform any of the .22s and with less powder.

Just get a regular ol' 6BR. You're wanting to shoot light bullets, so use a 14" twist and make sure the chamber has NO freebore. The 6BR shoots 55's and 58's faster than a 22-250 will shoot that weight bullet, and is more accurate. It's just stupid easy to find a good shooting load for that cartridge. My 6BR load is AA2230 and a 55/58 at 3880-3920. ( 55gr. BT has the same bal. coefficient as a .22cal 55gr bullet) Or a 65 at 3675-3710. And it's only using about 33gr. powder.....much less than a std. 22-250 for more performance. I've had several 22-250AI's and use them a lot.....they push 50's at 4200-4240 but also using about 40-45gr powder depending on which one.
